Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Field Contract Coordinator for an eight-month onsite contract through WECTEC Staffing Services. You will collaborate with project managers to craft action plans, manage resources, budgets and timelines, and report to the contract manager.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years experience as a Field Contract Coordinator or similar.
• Experience managing a team.
• Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.
• Schedule Management (Smartsheet).
• SAP knowledge.
• Maximo knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Oversee current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, filed and stored.
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and goals.
• Follow budget by overseeing expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Travel to sites to assist with initial catastrophic turbine assessments (5-10%).

About the role:

This is an 8-month onsite contract. Per diem available. A Field Contract Coordinator will fulfill several responsibilities. You will work with project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets and timeframes for projects. Project managers perform several coordinating tasks such as scheduling and risk management. You will report to the contract manager.
