Flowserve Corporation seeks an Application Engineer to design, install, operate, and service centrifugal and liquid ring pumps with a focus on customer-site support in oil and chemical industries.

The role covers troubleshooting at customer facilities and at the Detroit Quick Response Repair Center, with emphasis on data-driven recommendations and process standardization. On-site in El Paso, TX, strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree required.
• Strong customer focus and ability to project a positive corporate image.
• Team player capable of constructive problem solving with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be computer literate.

Responsabilités

• Communicate customer needs to Flowserve and be the primary source of information on design, application, installation, operation and maintenance of pumps and seals.
• Act as liaison between customers and Flowserve’s sales, reliability, service, and manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot technical problems at customer sites and at the Flowserve Repair Center.
• Complete projects using hands-on and analytical approaches such as failure analyses and product performance reports.
• Evaluate data to support recommendations for improvement, replacement or repair of equipment.
• Present clear technical explanations tailored to the audience.
