Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree required.
• Experience in in-plant operations highly desired.
• Knowledge of mechanical seals and rotating equipment, especially centrifugal and liquid ring vacuum pumps, required.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers on design, application, installation, operation and maintenance of Flowserve pumps and seals.
• Troubleshoot technical problems at customer sites and at Flowserve Repair Center.
• Provide recommendations for repairs, upgrades and replacement equipment.
• Prepare and present technical reports and analyses.
• Ensure proper installation procedures and customer training as needed.
