Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an Application Engineer to support design, installation, and operation of centrifugal and liquid ring vacuum pumps and mechanical seals at customer sites and at the Detroit repair center. The role involves real-time technical support, troubleshooting, and recommendations for repairs or replacements, with travel to customer facilities.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in field service and troubleshooting preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite in El Paso, TX.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Credentialing for TWIC, background checks, and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, troubleshoot, and service centrifugal and liquid ring pumps and seals at customer sites.
• Communicate customer needs to Flowserve and coordinate with sales, reliability, service and manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot technical problems onsite and at Flowserve repair centers; prepare analyses and reports.
