Job summary

IES Communications in Haskell, TX is seeking a Project Lead - Fiber to act as the on-site coordinator and supervisor of several Crew Leads - Fiber for voice and data installation projects. The Project Lead - Fiber’s task will be to ensure job completion according to company and customer quality and safety requirements while maintaining the efficiency of the staff assigned to the project.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity and project completion.
• Install outlets and terminate CAT 3 & CAT 5 jacks; mount face plates and boxes.
• Build closets, racks, patch panels and terminate fiber; install grounding as required.
• Perform testing with OTDR/Fluke and troubleshoot issues end-to-end.
• Complete timesheets, material transfers and work orders accurately and on time.
