Job summary

IES is seeking a Crew Lead – Structured Cabling to act as on-site coordinator and supervisor for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure job completion per quality and safety standards while maintaining staff efficiency on site.

Responsibilities include leading crews, coordinating with the Project Manager, completing paperwork, performing quality checks, and serving as the primary on-site customer contact. Prior fiber termination and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Ability to terminate fiber and interpret project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead major project crews and provide training; ensure safety and quality guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity and budget adherence.
• Complete on-site paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform quality checks and prepare as-built drawings.
• Act as on-site customer liaison and attend meetings as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on site.
