Job summary

IES is seeking a Project Lead - Fiber to on-site coordinate and supervise Fiber Crew Leads for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure job completion per quality and safety standards while maintaining staff efficiency and project budgets where applicable.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of fiber termination, testing (OTDR), splicing, and field documentation. Travel within branch/regional territory may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prefer 5+ years of experience in Fiber and leading small groups.
• Industry Certifications (Corning/FOA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate major fiber installation crews and ensure productivity, safety and quality.
• Install and terminate fiber connectors and build out required cable plant.
• Maintain documentation and complete required paperwork (timesheets, work orders, etc.).
• Perform testing and troubleshooting with OTDR and related tools.
