Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Crew Lead - Fiber to act as the on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure job completion per company and customer safety and quality standards while maintaining staff efficiency.

The role involves leading crews, coordinating with the Project Manager, and performing fiber termination, testing, and documentation. This is an on-site position requiring physical work and adherence to IES guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Typically run major project crews and supervise on-site work for fiber installation.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion and budget compliance.
• Install and terminate fiber outlets, connectors and related hardware per standards.
• Perform testing, continuity checks, and troubleshooting of fiber systems.
• Complete paperwork accurately—timesheets, work orders and related documentation.
