Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related Agricultural field or current student with anticipated graduation by end of current semester.
• Ability to work a 48-hour week with variable schedules.
• Willingness to relocate and lead others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Learns, demonstrates capability and becomes certified in all farm department areas.
• Gains understanding of pig production processes, animal flow, farm health and welfare.
• Performs and masters all hourly jobs under supervision.
• Develops and prepares reports on experiences and opportunities for improvement.
• Complies with environmental laws, EMS policies and biosecurity requirements.
• Completes Leadership Certification and progresses through Manager Training program.
• Acts as HOD as needed and is on call for emergencies.
