Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure a safe, reliable, and well-maintained environment for a manufacturing/production client. This onsite, Monday–Friday day shift role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Basic work routines/standards in job execution.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose issues, and repair.
• Perform general building maintenance including plumbing and grounds upkeep.
• Inspect facility assets like doors, electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and coordinate with teams to complete tasks.
• Support energy management to keep systems efficient.
• Ensure installations comply with building codes and safety regulations.
