CBRE Group, Inc. seeks an Events Manager in Santa Monica to lead a small team responsible for meetings, events and conference services, coordinating both internal and external client programs.

The role is fully onsite Monday–Friday with up to 10% travel. Core hours are typically 7am–4pm, with occasional early starts or later events. You will manage budgets, supervise staff, and be the primary client liaison for forecasts, strategy and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in events or meetings.
• Experience in staffing, staff development, coaching and performance evaluation.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate teams and manage client expectations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management tools.
• Ability to handle budgeting and vendor coordination.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a small events team; conduct coaching and performance reviews.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules, assign tasks, and track deadlines.
• Be primary client contact for meetings and events forecasts.
• Manage department budget; approve purchases for event supplies.
• Recommend process improvements to boost productivity.
• Ensure vendor compliance with location requirements.
• Monitor SLAs and KPIs; report findings to management.
