Maritz is seeking an Onsite Event Venue Coordinator in San Francisco to greet guests, guide them through the venue, and ensure a smooth experience from arrival to departure.

In this onsite role you will support Venue Managers, manage reception logistics, handle luggage and coat checks, and maintain professional interactions while safeguarding confidential information. Onsite, with no travel required, salary ranges from $50,000 to $55,000.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in event, hospitality, or meeting management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide high level hospitality as primary contact within the venue.
• Answer guest questions, provide directions, and assist with special requests for a positive experience.
• Manage luggage and coat check services while keeping reception area organized and professional.
• Monitor and replenish reception and venue supplies as needed.
• Support onsite event operations with Venue Managers on tasks and logistics.
• Serve as a venue ambassador with daily walkthroughs and knowledge of amenities and services.
• Assist with shipping, data entry, and other administrative duties while handling confidential information.
