Job summary

Aston Carter is hiring an entry-level Recruiter to support high-volume hiring across Seattle, Arlington, or Chicago in a 100% onsite contract role. You will source, interview, check references, extend offers, and assist with new hire orientation while maintaining a customer-focused candidate experience for university hiring teams during peak periods.

The role emphasizes following established processes under supervision, with attention to detail and strong communication to candidates and hiring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in high-volume sourcing.
• Experience supporting offer processing, transfers, or similar employment transactions.
• Knowledge of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail with candidate information, offers, and status changes.
• Experience with sourcing activities, outreach, and pipeline management.
• Exposure to full-cycle recruitment support.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates proactively to build pipelines for high-volume hiring.
• Reach out to candidates, present opportunities, and engage them throughout the process.
• Maintain candidate engagement between interview stages with clear communication.
• Conduct interviews and assess qualifications per guidelines and role requirements.
• Check references as part of pre-employment screening.
• Extend offers and communicate next steps clearly.
• Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Conduct exit interviews and document feedback.
• Process changes in employee status with accuracy.
• Adhere to established recruiting processes and guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisors, hiring managers, and university recruiting teams.
• Manage multiple requisitions and pipelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide professional, responsive communication to candidates and stakeholders.
