Job summary

North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking an Enterprise Desktop Administrator to join the team in the Bismarck-Mandan metro area. This on-site role focuses on desktop and peripheral support across state agencies with emphasis on customer service and efficient incident resolution.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in computer science or a related field, or a high school diploma with two years of IT experience, and must be comfortable working independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in computer science or closely related field, or a high school diploma with two years of current and progressive IT technical related work experience.
• Relies on strong customer service and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate and resolve incidents and/or changes requested by customers and internal staff.
• Provide remote and on-site support for desktops, laptops, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Provide provisioning of devices for several state agencies.
• Manage asset inventory throughout a device's lifecycle, including surplus of equipment.
• Provide quality customer service in a work environment with a continuous workload.

Education

Associate degree in computer science or closely related field
