Job summary

Health Solutions West in Grand Junction is seeking an Electronic Healthcare Information Technician to design and maintain EHR forms and support applications. You will provide Help Desk assistance to resolve issues and train users for EHR systems.

You would work with the EHR team to ensure secure, compliant operations, plus assist with software and hardware support across the organization. This role requires onsite presence and a healthcare background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare settings.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, preferably myAvatar.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server).
• Willingness to train and mentor staff.
• Onsite availability four days per week.
• Current driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with stakeholders and EHR team to support and maintain applications aligned with workflows.
• Resolves help desk tickets for clinical, billing and technology issues related to the EHR.
• Provides EHR training to end users.
• Researches, evaluates and makes recommendations regarding EHR, PM and related software applications development, hardware and infrastructure.
• Ensures configuration management, security, and change controls are implemented and tested.
