Job summary

Mental Health America of South Central Kansas is seeking an EHR Support Specialist to ensure accurate, compliant use of our EHR system. This onsite position may allow limited remote work and requires attention to detail and strong communication.

You will enter and maintain data, build forms, support users, and assist with testing, reporting, and implementation. The role offers training, documentation resources, and compliance with HIPAA and related regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year in administrative, healthcare, or customer-service roles.
• EHR experience preferred; Netsmart MyEvolv or similar behavioral health EHR knowledge strongly preferred.
• Basic EHR knowledge to develop forms, templates, tools, and workflow configurations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain information in the EHR.
• Build electronic forms, templates, assessments, and documentation tools.
• Update forms/workflows reflecting regulatory and payer changes; test before deployment.
• Generate routine reports and manage necessary imports/exports for data quality.
• Provide introductory EHR training and create quick-reference guides for users.
