Open Door Community Health Centers is seeking a Site EHR Specialist to support Epic implementation and daily user needs in a clinic setting. You will help healthcare teams adopt Epic, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate training to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the EHR Training team, providing hands-on support, and communicating changes clearly to end users while contributing to ongoing process improvements within ODCHC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in a similar role or equivalent.
• Knowledge of a practice management system.
• ODCHC clinic operations knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clinical operations and patient care teams to facilitate the introduction, acceptance, integration, and optimal use of the Epic application in the clinic.
• Provide daily Epic user support through troubleshooting, coaching, and consulting.
• Identify and troubleshoot Epic issues and ensure full resolution.
• Refer issues to the IT Help Desk when needed.
• Work with advisory groups to optimize Epic PM and EHR features and upgrades.
• Attend clinic meetings as Epic expert.
• Coordinate training for new staff and providers; support upgrade training.
• Provide competency training for existing users.
• Communicate EHR changes to end users promptly.
• Assist with administrative functions and special projects.
