Job summary

Apex Systems is hiring an IT Specialist (Desktop Support) for a large government client in Jacksonville, FL. This on-site role supports Navy & Marine Corps personnel with day-to-day troubleshooting, reimaging machines for new users, and software deployment across desktops and laptops.

Required DoD Secret Clearance, Security+ CE, and 2+ years of IT experience. Windows Server and Windows 7/8/10 experience are highly desired, with a long-term rolling contract and a total pay rate of $34.50/hr

Qualifications

• DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.
• 2+ years of IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Reimage machines for new users.
• Install Active Directory and other software on desktops and laptops.
• Provide desk-side troubleshooting & support for employees.
• Assist on-site team with in-person troubleshooting.
• Support enterprise, network, systems, and operations.
• Reimage machines; Windows Server and Windows 7/8/10 experience is highly desired.
