Everforth Apex is seeking an IT Specialist Senior to support a large Government client at Portsmouth, VA, near Norfolk Naval Station. The role is a long-term contract with day shift, providing hands-on IT support and system administration in a security-conscious environment.

You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and Outlook, manage Windows Server environments, and contribute to project planning.

Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• 5+ years IT support experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on software and hardware repair.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, and Outlook issues.
• Windows Server and Windows 7/8/10 experience highly desired.
• Gather and organize detailed IT requirements.
• Assist in project planning and implementation.
• Develop and document IT solutions using SDLC.
• Interact with customers to understand business context and needs.
• Define scope and deliverables for assigned IT projects.
