Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Mayport, FL as a key member of the Field Services team. You will provide direct desk-side support, troubleshoot and repair IT devices, and ensure high-quality customer service.

The role requires US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, a high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience, and Security+ or higher. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in data centers, and travel to project locations

Qualifications

• US citizen, DoD Secret Clearance
• HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant IT experience
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher
• Experience with Windows 10
• Experience with HP Service Manager or Remedy
• Proven customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of customer tickets according to SLRs
• Ensure proper ticket handling per guidelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware/software)
• Ensure tasks are completed within timelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve local and networked MFDs, printers, and hardware
• Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues
