Job summary

Constellation in New York, NY is seeking a motivated General Manager to lead the Constellation Culinary group. You will oversee all functions of the food service department, manage staff, and ensure client satisfaction on a Monday–Friday onsite dining account.

The role requires 2+ years coordinating food service operations, experience with industrial cooking, and strong communication with hourly staff and executives. MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• At least two years coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage a diverse environment with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring new staff.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department and directly purchase ingredients to meet targets.
• Coordinate with district managers on technical and administrative dining service aspects.
• Address customer service needs and ensure client satisfaction.
