Job summary

Constellation Culinary Group in New York, NY is seeking a Food Service Director to lead a professional dining operation and manage a dedicated team. The role oversees a unit supported by a Commissary, with Monday–Friday work schedule.

You will drive culinary quality, safety, and sanitation standards, while managing budgeting, purchasing, and cross-department coordination to ensure targets are met.

Qualifications

• Six years of leadership experience in food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client service.
• Experience with and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department and purchase ingredients to meet targets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with district manager and other departments on dining service aspects.
