Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Technician to work onsite in the Kansas City area. You will resolve level 2 hardware and software issues on devices such as computers, printers, and scanners and participate in IT asset management and imaging.
You’ll push drivers and Intune configurations while coordinating with software vendors. You will be the front-line, professional point of contact for executives, using ServiceNow to track requests and document resolutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on desktop experience troubleshooting Windows laptops, printers, scanners, etc.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft environment troubleshooting (Intune, Exchange, Windows).
- Experience with Windows OS and remote connection tools.
- VIP support experience with executives.
- Knowledge of network security practices.
- Interest in AI and familiarity with Claude, ChatGPT, Co-Pilot or similar.
Responsibilities
- Handle level 2 desktop support in a fully onsite environment.
- Manage IT assets, PC imaging, and hardware/software deployments.
- Interface with software suppliers to manage inventory and updates.
- Provide front-line support for executives and VIPs.
- Operate via ServiceNow queue to resolve tickets and document resolutions.
