Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our client onsite in Wilmington, NC. The role supports end users and requires the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues with a customer-focused approach.

Ideal candidates have an Associates degree or equivalent in CS/IT, 3+ years of related experience, and strong skills in Windows environments, Microsoft 365 GCC High, and VIP/white-glove support.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in CS/IT preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
• Desktop and/or Infrastructure support experience.
• VIP/White glove support experience.
• Microsoft 365 GCC High experience preferred.
• Basic non-warranty repair skills training preferred.
• Technical writing competency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware, software and system failures following procedures.
• Repair/install computer products including printers, servers and networking.
• Manage user accounts and permissions; perform password resets.
• Document issues and updates in the ticketing system.
• Communicate with customers at all levels of technical skill.
• Escalate complex issues to L3 support as needed.
• Follow SOPs and knowledge management.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization.
