Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite IT support through our walk-up Tech Bar in Middletown, NJ. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices while delivering excellent customer service to employees.

The ideal candidate has hands-on desktop support experience and strong troubleshooting skills, thriving in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of desktop, field, or onsite IT support experience.
Hands-on experience supporting corporate hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite desktop and field support through a walk-up Tech Bar, including installation and maintenance of IT equipment.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices.
Diagnose complex desktop and peripheral issues and coordinate escalations when needed.
Document user information, reported issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately.
Collaborate with the IT support team to meet productivity, service, and customer satisfaction goals.
