Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for an onsite role in Rutland, VT. The selected candidate will provide end-user support, handle hardware/software troubleshooting, and assist with deployments and upgrades for client systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with PC hardware, Windows 10 Pro, Intune, and enterprise ticketing systems, with an emphasis on customer-facing support at the client site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3+ years of experience supporting PC hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support onsite in Rutland, VT.
• Repair, test, image, and maintain PCs, laptops, monitors, printers and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot software and peripherals; configure and add hardware as needed.
• Assist with server maintenance, upgrades, and backups.
• Perform outages and incident reporting for critical applications.
• Participate in asset management and documentation of processes.
• Support network hardware and performance troubleshooting and basic admin tasks.
