Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join the client team onsite in Rutland, VT. You will provide end-user support, handle hardware repairs, imaging, and configurations, and work with enterprise technologies to maintain stability.

The role requires strong desktop fundamentals, experience with PowerShell and Intune, and the ability to interact with end users in person at the customer site. W2 only, standard benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3+ years of experience supporting PC hardware and software.
• Solid desktop fundamentals with experience in PowerShell, Intune, and system administration.
• Working knowledge of enterprise technologies (Office365, Win10 Professional, imaging, ticketing systems) and experience in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Use visual task board and ServiceNow ticket system to manage work items.
• Repair, test, image, and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and related hardware.
• Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals.
• Setup, configure, and add all hardware; assist with IMAC events and PC refreshes.
• Assist with installations, configurations, upgrades, patches, and maintenance of server equipment.
• Perform backup, recovery, and security procedures, including outage reporting for critical apps.
