Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Onsite Desktop Support Technician for a 12+ month contract in Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on end-user support, SLA adherence, and a range of hardware/software tasks to keep on-site operations running smoothly.

Qualified candidates will have 4–7 years of experience providing quality end-user services, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work onsite. Travel to remote sites may be required, with lifting up to 30 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with desktop systems, operating systems, and diverse environments.
• Excellent customer service orientation and verbal communication.
• Experience supporting Windows OS, MS Office, VPN, printing, notebooks and mobile devices.
• Ability to install software and troubleshoot a wide range of applications.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Flexible travelling to remote sites or clusters.
• Lift up to 30lbs at waist level.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Perform break/fix, desk-side support, data migration and health checks.
• Provide onsite IT support and end-user assistance at desks.
• Manage SLA adherence and on-call rotations.
• Coordinate with vendors for end-user hardware support.
• Ensure security compliance and inventory management.
• Support events, site setup and disaster recovery as needed.
