Job summary

CEI is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our on-site Florence, SC team. You will configure, install, and maintain desktop hardware and software, providing expert support and user guidance in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment.

The role requires 2 years of technical operations support experience or an Associate degree in CS/IT, with A+/Network+ beneficial. ServiceNow experience is preferred. W2 contract with an attractive hourly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or 2 years of related work experience.
• 2 years of technical operations support experience.
• A+ and/or Network+ certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and maintain desktop software and hardware for users.
• Provide technical support and user guidance.
• Manage dispatch tickets and troubleshoot end-user issues.
• Ensure data backup and security configurations.
• Document configurations and standards for team reference.
• Assist other departments and manage parts inventory.
• Stay up-to-date with new workstation technologies.
• Provide on-the-spot training and support as needed.
