Job summary

Padmore Global Connections LLC seeks a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join the IVRS IT Help Desk team onsite in Des Moines. You will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to IVRS staff and leadership, handling software installation, imaging, and other IT tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This position is a contract, onsite role requiring 5 days in the office, with annual Windows/Microsoft products experience and strong communication skills. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 years of PC support experience, desktop to thin client.
• Experience with Windows 7/10 installation, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft 2019 and Office 365 products.
• Active Directory (client-side) understanding and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop/laptop/thin client support on site and remotely.
• Install, patch, and troubleshoot Windows 7/10 and Office 365.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Edge/Chrome and Google Workspace issues.
• Configure TCP/IP networking and assist with printer issues.
• Support in-house and third-party software and remote tools.
• Assist with data security tasks like BitLocker deployment.
