Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Tempe, AZ, offering onsite support to 1,500+ end users across multiple locations. This role handles Tier 2 hardware and software, imaging, and moves/adds/changes, with a focus on high-quality, personalized service.

You will work with AD, Office 365, VPN, and cross-functional teams to maintain a reliable computing environment and contribute to a knowledge base. Onsite only, with a contract duration in a dynamic enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of technical support experience including Windows and Mac environments.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Office 365, VPN, corporate networks, and mobile device technology.
• Experience with workstation setup, imaging, refreshes, conference room support, and related duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for end-user computing devices laptops, desktops, printers, MFPs, and wireless devices across multiple offices.
• Respond to incidents and service requests through a ticketing system, resolving issues within defined SLAs in a high-volume environment.
• Reimage computers and hard drives in accordance with established standards; perform Move, Add, and Change functions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office, and internet browsers; configure remote VPN connectivity.
• Deliver high-touch, business-aware, personalized support including executive and senior-level service.
• Collaborate with Active Directory, Messaging, Networking, Engineering, Security, and Service Desk teams; assist with onboarding and user adoption of new tech.
• Contribute to KB articles and help reduce overall service desk volume; maintain asset inventories and document troubleshooting procedures.
• Adhere to ITIL change, incident, and problem management processes.
