Job summary

MetroSys, Inc. in Phoenix is seeking an Onsite Desktop Support Technician to deliver hands-on workstation support within a corporate environment. You will image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows devices, support onboarding, and coordinate with IT teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, solid Windows troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting users in a professional setting. This role is onsite in Phoenix five days per week.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the Greater Phoenix, AZ area.
• 1–3 years of desktop support/IT help desk experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, hardware, Active Directory, printers/peripherals.
• Experience imaging, configuring, and deploying Windows devices.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Onsite work in Phoenix five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Tier 1/2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and apps.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and AD requests.
• Image, configure, deploy, replace, and decommission laptops/desktops.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and workstation setup.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN issues.
• Support Intune or other endpoint management for device config.
• Perform hardware upgrades and warranty coordination.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset records.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ITSM platform.
• Escalate complex issues to server/network/security teams.
• Assist with workstation refreshes and onsite projects.
• Follow security and change-management procedures.
