Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist in Austin, TX on-site five days a week for a 6-month contract to hire. You will provide end-user hardware, software, and network support, focusing on timely resolution and customer service.

Experience in a help desk and familiarity with AD, Intune, and Exchange are required. You will handle password resets, account provisioning, and onboarding, document activities, and may contribute to user guides and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a help desk environment and strong IT support process knowledge.
• Hands-on with AD, Intune, EXO, and common business software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries via phone or remote session for software/hardware issues.
• Use remote management, asset, patch, and antivirus tools.
• Participate in help desk ticket rotation for timely resolution.
