Job summary

Ledgent Technology in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Specialist for an onsite, contract-to-hire role. You will support Windows and macOS across employees, executives, vendors, and partners, troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices, and manage end-user issues with a customer-focused approach.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of desktop support experience, a bachelor’s degree in IT or CS, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or related field.
• 3+ years desktop support or help desk experience.
• Experience with Windows and macOS environments.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting executives and VIP users is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop support for employees and executives.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, monitors, and other IT equipment.
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and OS issues promptly.
• Track, document, and resolve support requests through the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues and follow through to resolution.
• Maintain IT asset records and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, deployments, and upgrades.
• Support after-hours or on-call issues as needed.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve processes and support operations.
