Job summary

HonorVet Technologies in Aliso Viejo, CA is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician for onsite 6-month engagements. You will handle desktop/laptop deployments, asset management, onboarding/offboarding, and user support for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include configuring devices, troubleshooting Windows and macOS, maintaining ticket records, and supporting onboarding projects. A strong customer-service mindset and solid documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
2-5 years of related desktop/IT support experience.
Advanced knowledge of Windows, macOS, and enterprise IT environments.
Experience supporting Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
Strong deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation.
Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Develop training materials and user documentation; train employees on hardware and software.
Prepare and configure computers and equipment for new and existing employees.
Deploy, configure, maintain, and repair desktop and laptop hardware and software.
Own onboarding and offboarding activities, including asset provisioning and access coordination.
Troubleshoot Windows and macOS systems, applications, hardware, peripherals, and connectivity.
Maintain records of tickets, incidents, installations, assets, and actions.
Escalate major issues to vendors or technical resources.
Provide status updates on tickets, projects, and operations.
Recommend hardware/software solutions based on needs; support IT projects and improvements.
Manage priorities and workload independently while maintaining service quality.
