Job summary

Excis is hiring an onsite Desktop Support Technician in Boston to provide hands-on hardware and software support for Windows, Macintosh, and mobile devices. You will image and install software, perform IMAC activities, and deliver VIP support with professionalism.

This role includes asset management, inventory coordination, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors; travel between offices up to 150 miles may be required. Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

3-5 years IT experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Macintosh platforms and devices.
Experience imaging and deploying Windows 10 OS.
Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, Ethernet, Windows Networking).
Experience with networked printers and basic server-related support.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
Image and install software on Windows and Apple devices, including Mac desktops and iMacs.
Perform IMAC activities: Installations, Moves, Adds, and Changes.
Troubleshoot hardware and software across Windows, Macintosh, and mobile platforms.
Provide Executive/VIP Support with high professionalism and customer service.
Coordinate hardware repairs, warranty and replacement services, and spare parts logistics.
Manage IT inventory and assets, asset tagging, and records updating in the asset management system.
Travel between offices as required, up to 150 miles.
