Job summary

NTT DATA in McKinney, TX is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite end-user support at a client site. You will own issues through resolution and perform Smart Hands support for network devices and on-site servers as directed.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, upgrades, deployment, and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices; staying within SLA, and occasionally after-hours support per leadership guidance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in IT/Desktop Support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A+ or equivalent hardware knowledge may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite end-user support for tickets and issues at a client site.
• Own issues through resolution and escalate as needed.
• Perform Smart Hands support for network devices and on-site servers as directed.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, deploy, and repair desktops, notebooks, printers, and network devices.
• Travel including overnight trips may be required.
