Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Critical Operations Technician I in Wilmer, TX to install, repair, and maintain IT, electrical and mechanical systems in a 24x7 data center. You will monitor operations, run tests, analyze data, and assist customers on the data center floor.

The role requires on-site work with strong teamwork and incident response. You will manage tickets, escalate alerts to systems engineers, and perform tasks related to computer hardware, software and operating

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical training or equivalent.
• Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge to IT, electrical and mechanical equipment and operating systems.
• Maintains and monitors electrical/mechanical equipment; records readings.
• Provides remote hands and eyes services for customers.
• Configures hardware and software; installs equipment per docs.
• Repairs IT, mechanical and electrical equipment; assists with major repairs.
• Processes work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Creates/updates tickets for alerts in the ticketing system.
• Operates and monitors critical/non-critical system equipment.
• Responds to emergencies and customer requests.
• Adheres to hazardous materials policies.
• Completes maintenance with Change Management documentation.
