Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Critical Operations Technician I to install, repair, and maintain IT, electrical, and mechanical equipment across our data centers in Utah. This role supports a 24x7x365 environment on-site and handles customer equipment installs along with ticketing workflows.

Candidates should have technical training and be proficient with MS Office; on-site readiness and strong teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical training, military training, or workplace equivalency.
• Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical fields.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain IT, electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment and controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor building systems operations.
• Assist customers on the Data Center floor and manage tickets.
