QTS Data Centers is seeking a Critical Operations Technician I to install, repair, and maintain IT, electrical, mechanical equipment in our data center. You will monitor building systems, handle customer equipment installs, manage tickets, and escalate issues to systems engineers as needed.

This is an on-site, 24x7x365 position with no remote work. The role involves frequent collaboration with a team, strict adherence to safety and change-management procedures, and a strong focus on customer

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical training, military training, or workplace equivalency.
• Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical fields.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Provide remote hands and eyes services for customers.
• Install IT, electrical, and mechanical equipment per documentation.
• Create and update tickets in the ticketing system.
• Respond to emergencies and customer requests.
