Job summary

Mobile Communications America, a leading wireless, data, and security solutions provider, recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on first-line customer contact, service coordination, and order processing within a dynamic MSS Voice division.

You will support dispatch, inventory, shipments, and field service coordination while collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, operations, inventory or related administrative role.
• Experience in an operational, service, logistics, or inventory-driven environment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Professional communication in spoken and written form at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work independently, and meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Coordinating equipment repair and depot service activities, ensuring requests are processed, tracked, and completed on time.
• Receiving, tracking, staging, and distributing products and equipment to support customer, sales, and service operations.
• Preparing and processing outbound shipments, equipment returns, and related documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Supporting inventory management activities, including tracking, stock organization, counts, and records.
• Updating and maintaining purchase orders, equipment records, and other operational documentation.
• Generating and maintaining reports, records, and documentation to support daily operations.
• Assisting with scheduling and dispatching field service technicians for customer and operational needs.
• Creating, updating, and maintaining service tickets and work orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborating with service, operations, sales, and other teams to support customer satisfaction and business objectives.
• Promoting a safe, positive, and productive work environment; performing other duties as assigned.
