Summit is seeking a Food Service Director for the Corrections segment in Black Hawk, CO. The role oversees the entire food service department, leads a team of workers, and ensures meals meet quality and safety standards in a corrections environment.

The position is full-time, on-site, non-exempt and paid hourly. Applicants should have relevant experience and strong communication skills to interact with staff and executives. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with client/customer focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department and directly purchase ingredients to meet targets.
• Coordinate with district manager and other departments on dining service aspects.
