Summit, a brand of Elior North America, seeks a motivated Food Service Director for the Corrections team in Pattonsburg, MO. This non-exempt, hourly role leads a team and oversees all dining operations to ensure meals are served on time.

You will hire and train staff, enforce culinary, safety and sanitation standards, and manage department budgeting and purchasing to meet targets. Benefits include medical, vision, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking; excellent communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.
• ServSafe and/or HACCP certification (nice-to-have).

Responsabilités

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Budget the department, including directly purchasing ingredients and meeting targets.
• Coordinate with district manager or other departments on dining service aspects.
