Summit is seeking a motivated Food Service Director to lead a corrections dining team and oversee all food service operations. The role requires managing staff, ensuring safety and sanitation standards, and driving budgeted performance in an onsite setting.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in food service coordination and industrial cooking, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer satisfaction.
• Experience with all MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring.
• Ensure culinary, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Budget for the department and manage purchasing and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district management on dining service operations.
