Job summary

Summit, a brand of Elior North America, is seeking a motivated food service director for the Corrections team in Stanley, ND. You will lead a talented group and oversee all aspects of the department to ensure meals are served on time. This non-exempt role is paid hourly and requires strong leadership and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff hiring/training, and coordinating with management to sustain high service levels for inmates and staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer satisfaction.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department and meet targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with the district manager and other departments on dining service aspects.
