Job summary

Summit is seeking a motivated food service director for our Corrections team in Port Hadlock, WA. You will lead a skilled kitchen staff and oversee all aspects of the department to ensure timely meals and compliant service.

This non-exempt, hourly role requires hands-on leadership, budget oversight, staff training, and collaboration with district management to meet safety standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment focused on client satisfaction.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training.
• Ensure culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department and purchase ingredients to meet targets.
• Coordinate with district manager and other departments on dining service.
