Johnson Controls seeks an experienced Controls Project Manager to lead on-site projects, coordinating hardware design, programming, installation, and commissioning with customers. You will drive profitability, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across projects.

The role requires a technical associate’s degree with field experience (PM I/II levels) and strong communication skills. Competitive benefits and a collaborative, safety-focused environment are offered.

Formación

• Minimum of a technical associate's degree with two years of field experience or four years of equivalent related field experience.
• Applicable Access Control, Fire, Video, and/or systems design and commissioning experience.
• Must have appropriate licensing, certifications, and relevant hands-on experience.
• Ability to perform work independently; strong PC skills; knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Act as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete projects with assigned customers.
• Coordinate hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Manage project financials: costs, billings, and collections; ensure profitability and cash flow.
• Pursue change orders and communicate status to customers throughout all phases.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to technicians and designers; ensure safety compliance.
• Develop project plans, schedule resources, and deliver cost-efficient, high-quality results.
