Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Project Manager for HVAC to lead on-site project execution from planning through commissioning and closeout. You will coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to deliver complete systems on time, within scope, and with strong profitability.

The role requires technical HVAC controls knowledge, effective communication, and disciplined financial oversight, with a focus on safety and quality on each project site.

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree with four years of field experience, or six years of related field experience.
• Experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC or Building Automation controls systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls and related theories.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC controls projects from design through commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution with subcontractors, electricians, designers and staff.
• Manage project financial performance including costs, billings, cash flow and gross margin.
