Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Superintendent to independently supervise an area of trade contractors on a project valued up to $30M. This on-site role will be on the job site every day and will play a key part on the project team.

You will manage field operations, coordinate trade partners, and maintain schedules while ensuring safety and quality across disciplines. Gilbane values collaboration, mentorship, and a strong safety culture as you drive results on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 4–8 years of superintendent experience on $15–$30M projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certified and STS-C certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners and sub-contractors.
• Develops and communicates field work plans and changes.
• Maintains project schedule and daily site reporting.
• Leads contractor meetings and enforces the safety plan.
• Ensures quality control and cross-team coordination.
