Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in Ohio is seeking a Superintendent to independently supervise trade contractors on projects valued up to $30M, with daily on-site oversight and a key role on the project team. We offer extensive training through Gilbane University and a path to leadership, emphasizing safety, collaboration, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4-8 years of experience on $15-$30 million+ projects in a superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certified and STS-C Certification.
• First Aid/CPR; Stop the Bleed training; equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners and subs to meet project schedule.
• Develops and communicates the field work plan for changes.
• Maintains contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Leads contractor meetings and manages project schedule.
• Oversees safety programs and enforces the safety plan.
• Plans, coordinates, and manages jobsite logistics and quality inspections.
